Scope of Works
- Bulk earthworks to prepare the site for civil and structural works.
- Construction of temporary and permanent roadworks to support site access and final design requirements.
- Demolition and reinstatement of existing concrete and asphalt pavements as required.
- Fabrication and installation of underground carbon steel piping for the cooling water system.
- Installation of underground HDPE piping for the fire water system.
- Installation of a new earthing grid system for electrical grounding compliance.
- Construction of new reinforced concrete support foundations for equipment and infrastructure.
- Construction of a raft slab foundation for the new reverse osmosis system.
- Installation of a new structural steel frame for the cooling tower.
Project Features
- Achievement of key critical shutdown milestones in accordance with project programme requirements.
- Completion of construction works in proximity to live services without disruption to ongoing plant operations.
- Incorporation of recycled crushed concrete as imported fill material to support sustainable construction practices and cost efficiencies.
- Installation of cooling water piping adjacent to existing high-voltage infrastructure utilising a controlled dual-crane lifting methodology.
- Placement of 400m³ of concrete in a single continuous pour using a multi-pump arrangement to maintain pour continuity and quality control.
